The messages that you assign to the cells in the communication grid are spoken out loud by the speech output device. You can decide on the speech characteristics, such as language, voice, voice volume, overall volume and speaking rate.
Choose Tools > Speech.
From the Language: drop-down list, select the language you want to hear.
From the Voice: drop-down list, select the voice you want to hear.
Move the Voice volume: volume slider to change the volume of the voice.
Move the General volume: slider to change the volume on the device.
Move the Speed: slider to change the reading speed.
Click to check the results of your settings.
Note: By default, these will be 1 2 3 4 5. You can replace the text by a word or sentence.
